We began filming this issue in 2003 when we produced a major report for the UK's Channel 4 News, which exposed the failures of Diebold Election Systems. We retained the rights to all this footage, and found ourselves caught up in the story. We committed to continue filming through the upcoming Presidential election and beyond.
Through 2004 VOTERGATE's filmmakers have traveled the country, recording elections, bewildered voters, activists protesting, corporate and government officials trying to cover up the flaws in the voting system. We have filmed investigations by pioneering activists, such as Bev Harris, interviewed the key players, including whistleblowers, politicians and the leading computer scientists who have proven the machines can be hacked by a 16 year old.
